Monarch Labs Collective, Inc.("we," "us," or "our") operates the Velocity mobile application. This policy explains what information Velocity collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Summary
- No account or sign-in is required.
- Reading progress, settings, and imported library content are stored locally on your device.
- OCR and text processing happen on your iPhone — we do not receive your documents or reading content.
- We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.
- Purchases are processed by Apple; we receive only what Apple provides for transaction validation.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond.
On-device data. The app stores preferences and activity locally, including reading speed, progress, trial state, and settings. This data stays on your device unless you delete the app.
Camera and photo library. With your permission, Velocity accesses the camera and photo library only when you choose to scan or import documents for OCR.
Purchases. When you buy Velocity Pro, Apple processes payment and may share limited purchase information with us so the app can unlock features.
